The Ship Inn Trefin
The Ship Inn Trefin is in the beautiful Pembrokeshire National Park just 200 yards from the coast path. The old stone country pub is a beautiful, unspoilt piece of history over 200 years old. The landlady Meriel Murphy has been running the ship inn for over 18 years; she, her family and staff extend a warm welcome to everyone, families, couples, coastal ramblers, cyclists, large groups and organized special occasions. At least half of our staff are bilingual and can speak to you in welsh if you prefer.
The Ship Inn is definably worth a visit, an “oldie worldie” welcoming place to relax, a place that people have enjoyed being at since 1797!
Bara Brith Café and Restaurant offers a great eating experience in the adapted Chapel Vestry. There’s plenty of room and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and we’re just off the Fishguard to Newport road in Dinas Cross.
Elin and her team provide a first class range of refreshments and meals. Whether you are resident or visitor, hiker on the Coast Path or just driving through the National Park this is a good place to come to be refreshed. All home cooking and baking.
